After an extensive review the BBF partners have determined that the BBF funding collaboration (a Baywide funding collaboration focusing on the 1st 1000 days and Youth) will not continue after the 1 April 2019.

Instead the learnings from the BBF funding collaboration will be incorporated and embedded into the partners day to day business practices and supported via a sub-regional approach focusing on enhanced collaborative funding.

The review concluded that BBF collaboration was a success with seven community projects supported and over $1m granted, along with significant learnings for the funding partners.  It is largely due to BBF that funders are now working together more closely and collaborating across a wide range of areas and projects throughout the BOP, and ultimately delivering better outcomes for our communities.

Local funders will take over the relationship management of currently funded projects and also projects that are in progress with groups being individually advised who their new relationship manager will be.
